Sholom was born in 1990 in Montreal, Canada where he attended the Rabbinical College of Canada until June 2007. He then studied at the Yeshivas Lubavitch of Baltimore for 3 years and Rabbinical college of America in Morristown, NJ for 2 years.

In 2013, he received Rabbinic ordination at The Machon Chaim Institute for Rabbinical Ordination in Melbourne, Australia.

Sholom has always been dedicated to assisting his fellow Jews throughout the world; he's been the director of Jewish summer camps in Belgium, Ukraine, and Milwaukee, WI. He has been involved in voluntary outreach work in Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Holland, Israel, Italy, Ukraine, and in several of the United States.

Simi was born in 1991 in Brooklyn, NY. In 1992, her parents (Rabbi Chaim and Chani Hanoka) were dispatched as Shluchim by The Lubavitcher Rebbe to Los Angeles, CA where they serviced the local Russian Jewish community.
In 1995, Simi moved with her family to Pasadena, CA where they established a vibrant Chabad house to service the local Jewish community.

Simi graduated from Bais Chana High School in June 2010. From there, she went on to spend a full year studying at the Jewish Theological Seminary in Milan, Italy.

Simi's life has always revolved around the Jewish community where she grew up. She has always dreamed of returning to assist in the Jewish development of the area.

Rabbi Sholom and Simi Stiefel married in March of 2014 and have been residing in Brooklyn, NY. During that time, Simi served as an assistant teacher in Oholei Torah of Crown Heights. Sholom attended Kollel Menachem, which is an advanced Rabbinical study program for ordained Rabbis.

In June 2015 they moved to Arcadia, CA to establish Chabad of Arcadia - with the mission of reaching out to every single Jew and make them feel like family!
