Chai means life.

The Chai Club is the heartbeat of Jewish Arcadia: monthly givers whose steady support keeps every program, visit and celebration going.

Small monthly gifts. Constant Jewish life.

Chai, חי, is the Hebrew word for life. Its letters equal 18. Chai Club members give each month in multiples of chai, turning a modest monthly gift into the steady heartbeat our community runs on. The heart does one thing: it pumps. Your monthly gift is what keeps everything else moving.

One dinner, one class, one hospital visit at a time, Chabad of Arcadia gives the greater Arcadia Jewish community a place to explore, increase and express their Jewishness. Monthly support is what makes that sustainable.

In their words

“I support Chabad of Arcadia because of its good work. More over because it is family to me and I’ll always support my family. Come join us to grow our family together.”

Lesley Bazinet, Chai Club member

“I want to help impact others as much as Chabad has impacted me. When I first moved to Arcadia I didn’t know how or where to connect with the Jewish community. Rabbi Stiefel and his family welcomed me with open arms!”
